The one who is at this stage is youngster with sharp thinking Shivananje Gowda. Without any push and strong belief and banking on goddess Saraswathi Shivananje Gowda is today the much sought after lyricist.

Shivnanje Gowda hails from Hassan district Koppalu village was working as cleaner in the hotel in his starting days. He continued studies while working even when he came to Hassan. He developed the taste for theatres plays. He joined BEL and in the theatre group he staged Ibbani Karagithu, Chandini, Vatsalyamayi etc. For ‘Yahoo’ of Seetharam Karanth he got the label of lyricist and continued in films like Pallakki, Birugali, Nanda, Sakha Sakhi, 18th cross, Ravana, Krishna Nee Late agi Baaru etc. He has so far worked for 49 films. Srimathi starring Upendra and Priyanka plus Celina Jaitley is his 50th film.

The bank of Shivananje Gowda is ready with 200 songs. He has worked for directors like Arjun, Manohar, Gurukiran, Sadhu Kokila, Venkat and Narayan, Abhiman, GR Shanker and others. He is currently working in Toyoto Kirloskar Motor Company and wish to do some experiments in the theatre.

Shivananje Gowda wife sung the 50th song that is written for ‘Srimathi’ film….Preethse Preethse Annodhella Prema…. At the media briefing director Seetharam Karanth was also present.
