The dance based films are not much Kannada filmdom. This one solves the dearth in addition to giving lovely music with ‘Gurukula’ system of education.
Producer cum principal of Vijay Anvekar has got it right and this system in college campus is required for a constructive younger generation. As a strict disciplinarian Vijay Anvekar role is in right order.
At the outset the film focus on the need to respect elders and at the same time capture inner talent. For this the principal of gurukula is not in favor in the beginning because academics is important. Sadly his grandchild succumb to ‘You Tube’ culture makes that him to repent for the mistakes.
This particular aspect in fact disturbs principal Purushottam fully. He takes the right step on the last year of his career in Gurukula. In the meantime you find a coach of dance targeted and the national level of competition is finally won by Belagavi team that represented Karnataka.
Santosh Kumar director of the film not fallen back in giving a neat 133 minutes Bindhaas Googly. In the top order is Vinu Manassu music. Five songs are too good. The cinematography for Vandemataram song is too good. Bindhaas Googly is a purposeful cinema.
Akash making debut wins in dance and action. Shilpa Laddimath is a good choice for coming films. She is glam and gleeful. Mamata Rawat has given competent job. Dharma Keerthiraj shines in one action, veterans Ramakrishna and Keerthiraj extended good support.
Go watch this one to encourage new talent ability and strength.
