Varsha Creations first of the five DVD ‘Dr.Raj Jeevanadhare’ was released by better half of Dr.Raj – Smt Parvathamma Rajakumar on Wednesday evening at Ravindra Kalakshetra in the presence of KCN Chandrasekhar, GT Deve Gowda, music director Gurukiran, Sa.Ra.Govindu and regional head of BSNL Mr S Ghosh. The souvenir ‘Bhava Sangama’ articles on Dr.Rajakumar was released by BSNL regional head Mr Ghosh.
The key speaker on that evening was GT Deve Gowda, President of Karnataka Housing Board said he has grown up in life cultivating land from Dr.Rajakumar’s ‘Bangaradha Manushya’. I was disheartened in life with dry life, dry land and monetarily dry after my father’s death. It is the conversation of Dr.Raj and Balakrishna in ‘Bangaradha Manushya’ filled courage in my life. In those days I took loan of Rs.49000 to dig bore well to supply water to the cultivation Gowda remembered the felicitation he did for the Dr.Rajakumar family in one of the Dasara festivities that is a symbolic of honoring the entire state according to him.
Mr K.C.N.Chandrasekhar the president of Producers Association bought the DVD by paying money to Krishna of Varsha Creations via Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar. KCN remembered how Make up Krishna battled to get inside the auditorium when Dadasaheb Phalke was presented to Dr.Rajakumar. It was Sa.Ra.Govindu who helped Krishna to get in said KCN. Drawing his attention on the contribution of Dr.Rajakumar the renowned personality KCN said Dr.Rajakumar is a ‘Manavathavadhi’.
Mr Ghosh of BSNL said this is a fortune of the government owned institution to connect with legend of Kannada cinema. BSNL is connecting people and now with this association we are confident of forging ahead with the image of Dr.Raj he said.
Smt.Parvathamma Rajakumar thanked every one for such affection. Sa.Ra.Govindu recalled one of the incident from his memory that related to the song ‘Jenina Holeye….from the film ‘Chalisuva Modagalu’.
One hour of cultural program preceding to the release of DVD was arranged by Varsha Creations head Make Up Krishna.
