Who is a singer with expertise? Ask Kannada ‘Kasthuri’ channel the first Kannadiga run channel. The one who is efficient in singing the Janapada, Light, Devotional, Ranga Geetha and film song with a touch of class is the answer that comes from the organizers of the channel headed by Balaji.

In the first time of television history the Kannada Kasthuri channel has given room for various formats of singing by not only concentrating on film music like others do. The telecast of ‘Kannadave Sathya Kannadave Sathya’ has already yielded good results from rural Karnataka and the channel is contemplating on more such programs giving platform for every type of singing to flourish instead of perish.

On air at 8.30 to 9.30 pm on Saturday and Sunday the singing competition meant for the age group of 18 to 36 has finally selected 32 singers for five rounds – Bhakthi Geetha, Bhava Geethe, Janapadha Geethe, Ranga Geetha and Chitrageethe rounds.

The final event of three singers in the fray would be held in a grand style and winner would get a bumper says Balaji CEO of Kannada Kasthuri. N.S.Prasad a mandolin expert is moderating the results he gets from judges Rathnamala Prakash, Yashawanth Halbandi, Janardhan, Smt.Sunitha and Narasimha Naik who have proved their mettle in the five formats of singing.

Srivatsa is the director of this unique program and RJ Rachana is the anchor.
