With abundant controversy behind the Kannada film ‘Jothegara’ has been stalled a day before the release for not clearing financial dues to the extent of Rs.2 crores.
According to reliable sources the film ‘Jothegara’ was made from IDBI loan. Till the loan is cleared the release is not possible. Besides this the lab payment for the prints has to be cleared. Producer of ‘Jotehgara’ not finding any areas to his calculations has not sold the film on the other hand or rather no one has come forward to distribute the films.
With all these problems and financial commitments who asked Ramprasad to take up the film is what the hero of the film Premkumar had told his closets. First of all producer Ramprasad has not maintained a good relation and it is his brother Krishnaprasad is somewhat trying to work out it is reliably learnt.
Meanwhile the IDBI loan problem has also affected the film ‘Thipparahalli Tharlegalu’ directed by noted S.V.Rajendra Singh Babu. S.Narayan, Komalkumar and Omprakash Rao with Ambarish in an important role.
