Shivakumar a hardcore fan of Dr Rajakumar held the final shot of the movie at the memorial of Dr Raj and has also appeared in Adige Batta role (Cook) – that is because he is ‘Annadhaata’ says director Anand Kumar.
An assistant associate director since 1988 worked in Mumbai for a few years and came to Bengaluru. He has worked in 28 Kannada films as assistant director in the days of Tiger Prabhakar, had stint in Tamil and Telugu, in 2005 he made ‘Yagna’ Kannada film.
This is a comeback for Arjun of Arun Studios after three years. Sachin Purohit, Nakshatra, Abhilasha, Harsha, Abhishek, Suma, Nandini, Parvathi…..there are 12 male and female actors. Tennis Krishna and Bhavya are senior actors.
After screening two songs director Anand Kumar says the title is very apt to the subject he has picked. The youths are joining wrong path and they do not have control over their mind. The issue of drugs is handled in the film. In 35 days the shoot was held in Bengaluru, Kolara, Madikeri, Kengal and other locations.
Producer Shivakumar a social servant agreed to make this film because of a message to youths. ‘Swachcha Karnataka Jana Jagruthi Samithi head hopes for good response in the theatres. A religious personality Shivakumar went to the temple where Basappa (Ox) is residing and sought permission. Only after the nod of head of the ox he came up with the plan of making the film.
Shivamurthy as Snehajeevi has done music for this film. Earlier he has worked for Belli Betta Kannada film.
Abhilash is in the name of Yash has message to deliver, Arjun a senior actor today is happy for good team, he said it is not proper to disclose his role, Sachin Purohit is in both positive and negative shade, Raj Bhasker has done the background score.
Umesh Banakar present on the occasion advised to release the film at the right time and retain the film in the theaters.
None of the heroines (six are there) turn up for the film first media meet.
