A humble and simple personality Ajjimane Nagendra a retired Karnataka government employee who headed the ‘Sirigandha’ book shop of government situated at the center of Town Hall and Ravindra Kalakshetra passed away on early hours of Sunday in his residence at Netakallappa circle.
Living alone Ajjimane Nagendra is a fond personality in the Kannada culture department. He joined the government services during the former chief minister Ramakrishna at CM office. He served for decades in the government department.
Ajjimane Nagendra was very fond in the senior journalists circle as he was closely connected to Kannada cinema industry. Ajjimane Nagendra was in the camp of Sunil Kumar Desai. For the script and screenplay work of Desai in films like Beladingala Baale, Nammura Mandhara Hoove, Prema Raga Hadu Gelathi, Parva, Marma, Ramya Chaitra Kala and to the recent Udgarsha, Ajjimane Nagendra extended his service.
