Girija Lokesh father and CVS father were close friends. It is from CVS Girija learnt dance. The opportunities to cast Girija as heroine in younger days did not happen for CVS. For Mene Katti Nodi CVS wanted Girija as heroine but demand came for Manjula to take lead role.
Finally the dance Girija Lokesh learnt earned her chance in cinema and that also became livelihood when her father lost in business affairs. Girijamma remembering her early days stated that at last CVS cast me in lead role that I missed. It is a moment of ‘Sarthakathe’ says Girijamma sitting next to CVS at Renukamba Digital theatre.
