With such a towering title ‘Bill Gates’ – the discovery from this film is not much. It is a fun filled first half that later transform to a horror thriller. The film sends a good message too in the end that the people in the society have to take note of it.
Who is Bill Gates? It is Shishir Shastry and Chikkanna. Pranksters in younger days are told by V Manohar Meshtru to become one like ‘Bill Gates’. They take it seriously and come to Bengaluru. In one of the accidents they save a posh man (played by Yathiraj) of a software company. Just 8th standard Bill-Gates (Shishir and Chikkanna) get a job in the office out of sympathy.
In the post interval they are given a task to entertain a foreign couple in a huge bungalow. This is where the fun and excitement builds up. There is a ghost in this house. The target for this lady ghost is Gates (Chikkanna). In a road accident the lady in pool of blood was not given attention by Gates. This is what the lady ghost notices and comes to punish him.
What kind of punishment and the human angle for the film break out in the final stages of the film.
Shishir Shastry looks good and he has danced well. Chikkanna deviating from comedy at places has given an emotional situation in the film. The Yama Loka situation is something unique for this film. it is on the wish of entertainment for ghost this tracks opens up.
Rashmitha as lady ghost gives the thrilling moments. In the non ghost situations she looks very pretty. Kuri Pratap, Giri, Shivanna and others have given good support.
There are two haunting tunes in this film from Nobin Paul, cinematography by Rakesh is appealing. The film needed fastness in the first half and some trimming in the second half.
Worth watching once!
