The Kannada cinema cinematographers association has reached to 35 years of existence. On this occasion Cine 35 Kutumba Samarambha’ was held at Renukamba Digital Theatre on Sunday. KFCC, Producers council, directors, cinema workers, Artists Association heads were present.
Former KFCC President Sa Ra Govindu felt happy with the growth of Kannada cinema a step ahead. The people who said dubbing is required have lost. That is because people have rejected. Yet excess of films releasing for one week is not good sign he said.
All associations should come under one sector and the cinematographer assistants should get support without disturbing the producer said President of the Cinematographers Association JG Krishna. On getting the ‘Bata’ for camera assistants the directors association should make recommendation he stated.
Soorappa Babu Secretary of the Producers Council of Kannada films disclosed the problem of his association. There are 100 who have not registered in Producers Association. As the election is on September 8 it is better all of them register their names he said.
The challenges are more than problems today stated KFCC President Jairaj. I would invite all to Apex body and discuss. I recommend one from the Cinematographers Association to join Academy and other committees he said. The blue print for development of Kannada cinema industry is happening. I request cooperation of all he said.
It is only when the film is censored the director is considered for records. As director and cinematographer are very important both should be invited for all activities stated Dr V Nagendra Prasad.
