Title – Dandupalyam 4, Producer – Venkaat, Direction - KT Nayak, Cinematography – R Giri, Music – Anand Raja Vikrama, Cast – Suman Ranganath, Rockline Sudhakar, Sanjeev, Venkaat and others.
This is ‘Dandupalyam 4’ – different from previous three sequels. The attempt of this film director KT Naayak is multi folded!
On the one side he continues crime, he wants to save the gang that is serving in the prison and in the end he closes the film with gang member’s death in cruel way.
The gang of eight this time goes in for a big deal. Instead of regular crime of killing and looting innocent people they take up a big deal. The gang taking up the deal is also a big setback for them in the end.
Why this gang take up a big crime this time is because they have to fetch money to save their gang members serving in prison. They are supposed to fill the legal expenses for it. How the politicians also make use of this gang is shown in this film. There is reference of Chalapathi also in the film.
The hunt of the police to nab the gang continues and it also gives a new thought in putting down the nefarious activities. The entry of cop Venkaat on the scene further builds up the tension for the gang. The cop uses his brain this time intelligently.
The point of not to entertain unknown people continues in this film. The climax is worked out in different way. There are two songs in this film. One is for Mumaith Khan.
Except Suman Ranganath all are new faces. The role of Sundri is quite different for Suman Ranganath. Venkat as cop looks good on screen.
The cruelty of this film enacted by a few first time actors deserves appreciation. Cinematography by R Giri is impressive, background score is also tolerable.
This Dandupalyam 4 is a three angle cinema. Let the crime not continue in social life.
