The Karnataka government headed by chief minister HD Kumaraswamy has decided on Sunday afternoon to place the body of legendary Dr Ambarish next to Dr RajakumarMemorial – very close to Dr Rajakumar is the memorial of Dr Parvathamma Rajakumar.
The land has been visited by Karnataka chief minister Kumaraswamy and marked for the memorial of Dr Ambarish. The final rites will be held on Monday afternoon at Sri Kanteerava Studio premises in the presence of mammoth attendance of Ambarish close colleagues, minister of Karnataka state, family members and fans.
Dr Ambarish son Abhishek is doing the final journey of his father rites in the customary Vokkaliga community tradition. The time is fixed to 3 pm on Monday afternoon.
On Sunday the mortal remain of Dr Ambarish was placed at his residence in JP Nagara for sometime – the house of Dr Ambarish is under construction stage. Later Dr Ambarish was brought to Kannada Chalanachitra Kalavidara Sangha on Pampamahakavi Road and straight from here it was kept for public and fans darshan at Kanteerava indoor stadium.
At the Kanteerava Indoor Stadium – best friends of Dr Ambarish, Rajanikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mohan Babu, Suhasini Manirathnam and scores of others paid last respect.
Rajanikanth remembering his friend was deep in emotion. He remembered that he could not meet Ambi in his recent visit to Bengaluru for a family function. Ambi called up and said ‘Magane Kond Bidthini’ to me. We were so close Rajanikanth remembered. That is because Rajanikath visit to Bengaluru was not without meeting his best friend.
Mandyada Gandu Dr Ambarish was later shifted by IAF copter to Mandya. At Sri Visveswaraya playground the body is kept for whole night for the Ambarish fans to take close look and pay respected for departed soul.
In the same helicopter the body of Dr Ambarish is brought to Kanteerava Stadium on Monday morning. In road procession the body will reach Sri Kanteerava Studio in Mahalakshmipuram for final rites.
