The Kannada film ‘House Full’ was not really houseful in the theatres but it could complete 50 days in Tribhuvan theatre in Bangalore and in continuation of Lakshmi theatre six weeks screening it went to Thibbadevi in Mysore to hit half a century!

Like the film that was not houseful 50 days event at Century Club was also not houseful! The chief guest Dr Vishnuvrdhana waited for nearly two hours to distribute the trophies. For the third time actor Diganth missed the function has really irked the producer Anuj Saxena and director Hemanth Hegde.

Why did the two hours late take place? On Monday morning the media briefing of ‘AK 56’ was arranged at 12 noon at Doddaganapathi Temple and media had to finish it and come to Century Club. The assignments at the same time had really irked the media too! Dr Vishnuvardhana looked dejected for this long wait and media also not turning up to the event.

After the trophies distributed the media came to the event and a small press briefing was held. Director Hemanth Hegde says the film has made Rs.20 lakhs profit. He is now taking up another film that is tentatively titled as ‘Key’. Have you found the key to success in your profession? Hemanth Hegde half heartedly laughs!

‘I would do films for my taste and for the middle class it should reach is my aim’ says Hemanth Hegde.
