Ace music composer and director Ravi Basrur has come out with a novel attempt ‘Makkalinda Doddavara Chitra’ arthaath – children doing the elderly roles – the high point of 280 children acted cinema is that rocking star Yash and Radhika Pandit have dubbed voice for the lead actors.
On Friday evening at Sri Renukamba Digital Theatre power star Puneeth Rajakumar graced the teaser launch and blessed the effort of producer NS Rajakumar his long time friend.
‘Girmit’ has all the ingredients of a big star commercial cinema. Children are doing elderly actors roles. Top actors like Thara, Rangayana Raghu and others have dubbed for other child actors in the film.
‘Girmit’ is no doubt a mouth watering food item served with spicy ingredients. Ravi Basrur besides direction has worked on editing and lyrics for this film. He got inspired from children programs like comedy kiladigalu and other programs.
Master Raj is playing Yash, Baby Rashmi is Radhika Pandit. Other child actors represent Rangayana Raghu, Sadhu Kokila, Tara and Achyuth Kumar.
‘Girmit’ is made in five languages. Power star Puneeth Rajakumar speaking on this occasion appreciated the zeal and enthusiasm of the team. It is a good gesture of top actors providing dubbing for child actors. Even I have done it in film like ‘Raja Ratha’. Let this film give good entertainment and more such efforts are made he hoped.
Sachin Basrur is cameraman, Pramod Maravanthe written screenplay and dialogues, Kinnal Raj, Sandeep Sirsi, B Manjunath and Soochan Shetty written four songs. Power star Puneeth Rajakumar, Navin Sajju, Santosh Venki and Arundhati lent their voice for the songs.
N Sooraj Chaudhari and N Naren Chaudhari joined hands with N S Rajakumar in production of this film. KRG Studio is releasing the film in all the five languages.
The Kannada film ‘Girmit’ is ‘Pakka Maas’ in Telugu and Hindi, Podi Mass in Tamil and Malayalam languages.
