The mega budget movie in Kannada ‘Munirathna Kurukshetra’ is simultaneously releasing in five languages on August 2 and on Sunday at Koramangala Stadium it was a festival for the film fans as the trailer was declared open.
Challenging star Darshan invited one of his fans from the mammoth crowd to release the trailer. The crowd was extremely happy with this invitation from D Boss Darshan.
Addressing the mammoth attendance Darshan said for performing his role as ‘Duryodhana’ his father role in ‘Bhaktha Prahallada’ was key inspiration. I cannot payback even after seven births the love and affection of the fans. I was on top of the elephant in this film. I am given a chance to adopt that elephant I am ready stated Darshan also showed his animal love.
The kick start for the mega trailer release event of ‘Munirathna Kurukshetra’ was from Sahore Saho….song shot on Darshan an introduction song penned by Dr V Nagendra Prasad.
Producer Munirathna Naidu addressing on this occasion mentioned that it is only because of pure love to cinema made him to product this film. Ambi anna is not there today but his performance is in this film. I miss him very much stated Munirathna Naidu. This film is better than ‘Bahubali’ in making opined Munirathna.
DK Shivakumar and DK Suresh were present at the event that was attended by almost all the artists of the film ‘Munirathna Kurukshetra’.
Rockline Venkatesh is releasing the film worldwide in five languages. His son Yatish was present on this occasion.
It was veteran actor Srinivasamurthy who played Dronacharya role pointed that Darshan role as Duryodhana make us to forget what NTR had done in Telugu. After a long gap mythological cinema has come and producer is very important for this film he said.
Director Naganna, V Ravichandran, Dr V Nagendra Prasad, Bharavi, graphics designer Durga Prasad, art director Kiran, editor Joni Harsha, assistant director Devu, Dr Srinath, Ravishanker, Shashikumar, Sonu Soodh, Danish Sait,Yashas, Haripriya, Avinash and others were present at the magnificent event.
Lahari Recording Company acquired the audio rights of V Harikrishna music for the film. Zee TV has bought the TV rights.
