In his debut Radio Jockey turned director Mayur Raghavendra caught hold of an interesting title and well driven screenplay. At one stage missing of non Kannada speaking persons leaves a feeling that the film is in danger position. But the answer that comes convincingly and for the series of murders reasoning is also well thought out.
“Kannad Goththilla” is quite often heard from non Kannada speaking personalities. In this film the route of telling the story by director is quite different. He has chosen the two tracks – missing of eight non Kannadigas in three days and a few murders in his investigative narration.
Comes in Shruthi Chakravarthy (Haripriya) the screen charmer in cool and hard way in taking up the case entrusted to her. The series of murder and kidnapping of non Kannadigas is a headache at one point of time for Shruthi. She makes a thorough investigation and come up with the whodunit.
As the person connected to it is not right to reveal, the reasons for one person doing such kidnapping and murders gives his perturbed situation that forced him to take such steps. You better find the person watching this film.
Haripriya is delectable again. She has that easy way of performing and she never gives a feeling of stress. Mayur Raghavendra as cop, Pawan as important cop in the film gives his career best performance. The dialogues for this famous comedy actor in this film stun everyone.
Nakul Abhayankar gives to melodies in his debut while Giridhar Diwan cinematography and editing is another big boost for the film.
This is a good thriller plus a few touching moments especially in the second half. Go watch this film.
