The top south Indian actress Nayanthara was almost ready to appear for a Kannada film ‘Swaranjali’ for a remuneration of Rs.14 lakhs but the inordinate delay from producer and director Srinivas she had to give up Kannada offer. Rashmi of ‘Dhuniya’ fame is appearing in the title role for three lakhs less of Nayanthara remuneration.
Producer Srinivas went his son Vijayakumar to book the call sheet of Nayanthara. Vijayakumar who had failure in his father’s debut film ‘Thangiya Mane’ was the one who opted for Nayanthara for his second film. The delay in the launch of ‘Swaranjali’ made Nayanthara to get out of the offer and so is Vijayakumar who declined to act with Rashmi as heroine.
What is so unfortunate is that produce Srinivas explained this fact in the presence of Rashmi at Kanteerava studios. Instead of his son in the lead producer Srinivas invited his distant relative Ramana who has acted in seven Telugu and seven Tamil and one Malayalam film. Ramana wants to have a record of acting all South Indian languages and that is why he is here. He comes on the screen in the second half and protects ‘Swaranjali’ played by Rashmi.
The film ‘Swaranjali’ by producer Srinivas the maker of ‘Thangiya Mane’ last year and lost 90 percent of his investment of Rs.1.30 crores is trying his hands once again in a village background cinema.
A family sentiment cum action and musical ‘Swaranjali’ film is spending Rs.80 lakhs for two action scenes. Stunt director Kaurava Venkatesh for the action scenes he is going to shoot in Mysore using three cameras and roping in ropes and other equipments from Thailand spending Rs.7 lakhs on it. He is consuming five days to give chilling action scenes.
Cameraman BLBabu is using the Red camera the latest camera equipment for the climax shoot.
