The Anna of Kannada cinema industry Dr.Rajakumar was remembered as it was the 3rd death anniversary day April 12 the Cable TV awards were presented. The big brother members were also present in the small brother – Television awards.

Except that the program did not took place in the traditional style and Raghu Dixit picked the Hindi tune first irked many but later on it went on very well.

Cable and Broadcast division awards – Smt.Sundarasri on behalf of Surendranath of ETV, Vijayakumar of Udaya TV, Nivedhith Alva of Alva brothers Meditech private limited, Anil Shetty CEO NTV of Bangladesh received the awards.

HMK Murthy, Sihikahi Chandru, MS Narasimha Murthy and Smt Aparna got life time achievement award. The evergreen award went to Ravikiran.

There was feast of cultural program from Raghu Dixit electrifying songs, Ashok and Anand from Chennai thrilled the huge attendance, Shwetha Chengappa dance was nothing less than any Bollywood standard.

The awards evening was attended by Speaker of Assembly Mr Jagadish Shettar, SA Chinne Gowda, veteran actor Srinivasamurthy and others. The awards presentation evening started at 7 am and went on till 11.30 pm. It was really a wonderful stage and background was pretty good. The anchor Aparna and Sunder gave a good start to the awards presentation evening.
