Coming to Bannada Kode it is a good script of G Krishna the aspiration of child to get a colorful umbrella after fascination towards it. The mother is making a few bucks as maid servant and father is a drunkard. How the child achieves the dream of umbrella is the crux of the matter told in the rich and poor class disparity.

Debutant director of Bannada Kode G Krishna promises a neat film through not much of dialogues but with expressions. Krishna has wide experience in visual media in the last 16 years.

Yathiraj always bubbling with energy and acerbic tongue to lash at wrong doings plays the drunkard father. He is growing beard for this role and very confident of doing the role without consuming liquor. The role in ‘Akka Thangi’ what Yathiraj had played has in fact attracted director Krishna to select him for this role. The drunkard role later transform to good.
