`Kishore Sarja` DEPARTS AT 50

The 50 years old Kishore Sarja well known director of Kannada cinema and brother of top Tamil actor Arjun Sarja died of heart attack at Manipal Hospital on Saturday morning around 8 am. Arjun was in town when the death news of his brother was announced by the doctors.

The eldest brother of actor Shakthi Prasad the well build Kishore Sarja had a good stint as assistant director in the camp of top directors like V Somashekhar, Vijaya Reddy, D Rajendra Babu and SV Rajendra Singh Babu before taking up his first film ‘Alimayya’ starring his star brother Arjun. That was the beginning and he made some quality films like Jodi, Makkala Saakshi, Thutta Muththa. Bhava Bamaidha. He has completed the shooting of his cousin Cheeranjavi debut film for home production ‘Vaayuputra’ and the film is at the re-recording stage.

Kishore Sarja is known for cigarette in his hand and addicted to drinks was suffering from multiple organ problems. His lever was damaged severely sometime back and four days ago he had problems in his health and brought to Manipal Hospital.

He leaves behind son Sooraj of 20 years and wife Aparna. The cremation will be done at the native village Jakkanahalli where Shakthi Prasad is also buried.
