This is indeed a very proud moment for every kannadiga. Good fiction and nonfiction shows with unique storylines and a treasure of kannada cinema library has made this feat possible.   

A new fiction show “NAANU NANNA KANASU” is now becoming a part of the existing fiction shows bouquet. Its a story of a small girl child who goes on a difficult journey of fulfilling her father’s dreams for her. Anu dreams of becoming a doctor just like her father. She shows her academic brilliance from a very tender age which reassures her father that his dream of making her daughter will indeed come true one day. But life is not as we plan but how god decides. A lie, a betrayal and fate changes Anu’s life forever. Who told the lie and who betrayed whom that shattered Anu’s life and how she overcomes all the hurdles to achieve her goal of becoming a doctor, forms the crux of the storyline. This storyline attempts to be different in its narrative approach compared to other fiction shows. The special characters woven inside the story, the emotional sequences and the high drama are sure to keep the viewers engaged and thrilled.   

The look and feel of the show has been given a great importance. A huge grand set has been erected to create a stunning visual experience. The costumes, jewellery and art properties have been given at most importance. Udaya Tv is all set to create a new benchmark in kannada television space in terms of look and feel.   

Cutie pie kid “Shrutha” who is very popular in Kannada television plays the role of Anu, famous Kannada Cinema artiste Rajesh Nataranga plays Anu’s father. Nishita Gowda who used to play prominent negative roles in kannada television has acted after taking a long break from the industry. Also, talented artistes like vishalraghu, Aaratikulkarni, Harish, child artistes Skanda and Amith are playing pivotal roles in this fiction show.  

Popular Kannada film star “Priyanka Upendra”, as liked the story of “Nanu Nanna Kanasu”, so much so that she has agreed to promote the show herself. She has shot promos and other promotional videos for the same.

A popular mumbai production house SHASHI SUMEET GROUP has taken the responsibility of producing this big show for Udaya Tv. Talented director and DOP Mr. B Kumar has directed this show. ShreedharSambhram, the noted music director of Kannada cinema has given a wonderful title song and the very talented and award winning lyricist Dr. Nagendra Prasad has penned the title song lyrics. Naanu Nanna Kanasu title song is sure to become a new favourite just like his previous hit song “ Appai love u pa” of the hit kannada film CHOWKA.
