Here is one director on the verge of hitting hat trick in century from three films. That is Nagashekhar from ‘Myna’. Here is one who has taken up a film to hit a hat trick – AP Arjun from ‘Raate’.

Arjun is such a serious film maker and says his next film title is ‘Roopa’ – after two A letter films – Ambari and Addhuri he is going for two R letter starting title films.

The beauty of ‘Raate’ is that – V Harikrishna producer, AP Arjun director, hero Dhananjay and heroine Shruthi are all connected to ‘3’.

V Harikrishna invested for two of his previous films and this is his major production, Arjun has taken up 3rd film, Shruthi is in her third film (she is in Lucia and Papas Kalli) and of course our engineering graduate with theatre backdrop Dhananjay is in his third film – one is ready to release, another one announced as ‘Huchcha’ in Om Prakash Rao direction and this is the third one to start – ‘Raate’.

What is ‘Raate’ – this is the Kannada term told in the villages where there is ‘Bavi Katte’. It is a ‘Pulley’ from which water is drawn from the well.

In the similar way director Arjun has brought a comparison to life. We pull our fortune from the store house kept for everyone by God. It is a lovely life of already ‘Lovers’ – The significance is attached to how they protect or guard their love in the film. The previous two films of Arjun were different. He is shooting for 70 days in Dandeli, Bangalore and other locations.

Sathya Hegde is wielding the camera at raw places. Some of them are risky he knows. That is a part of his job also he knows.

It is V Harikrishna’s ‘HARIMONIUM REEDS’ – (with symbol of Lord Venkateshwara on forehead between the words) production. He has not set any limit for the budget. This film is also distributed by Toogudeepa Productions. No need say that this film audio will be released by ‘D Beats’ of V Harikrishna.
