12 BIFFES FROM FEB 26th TO MARCH 4th

The prestigious and well organized Bengaluru International Film festival 12th edition is taking place from February 26 to March 4 – 200 films from 50 countries are shown on seven days at the 11 screens of PVR Orion Mall Rajajinagara.

The Karnataka Chief Minister BS Yediyurappa and Home Minister Basvaraj Bommain with Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy President Sunil Puranik were present on Thursday to release the logo of the 12 BIFFE.

The 12th BIFFE is celebration from Karnataka government, Karnataka Chalanachitra Academy, Information and public relations department and Karnataka Film chamber of Commerce.

In 7 days 14 divisions – world cinema, Indian cinema, Kannada cinema, critics films, Asian cinema, Net Pack, biographical films, artists, technicians retrospection, special films, veteran we lost category, directors memory, documentary are part with discussions, lectures, workshops, seminars, master class etc.

For general public it is Rs.800, for cinema students and industry fraternity it is Rs.400 entry fee for seven days. ‘Bengalurinalli Jagaththu’ is the caption carried out this time.
