Here is some good news from the team of Seshagiri Yalameli and his team that makes the Kannada entertainment industry feels proud.

With sheer hard work and dedication the first 2D Animation film ‘Chintu School’ has come to one stage from Sri Mahalakshmi Combines and Kolors N Motion Studios Private Limited.

The pertinent question Seshagiri asks is that when the Hollywood films Avataar and Harry Potter post production works for fantasy could be held in Bangalore and Hyderabad why not we try at the available facility. The result of this is Rs.3.5 crores ‘Chintu School’ 2D Animation films.

The clippings of the 2D animation film and three songs of super quality were screened to media persons on Wednesday night at P2 Hall at KSCA club in Bangalore.

For 90 minutes duration per second 35 pictures were drawn and 30 personnel worked for this ‘Chintu School’. The concept, screenplay, creative thought is by first Animation film director Seshagiri will be ready by January with post production work. After three months of campaigning for the film he has thought of release in April 2011 for the summer vacation.

There is full of entertainment and message tucked in this film that is applicable even to rural India. In his dreams Seshagiri has ‘Malgudi Days’ as animation film – that was in the television serial format in the late 80’s from Shanker Nag. He has ‘A Tiger For Malgudi’ and ‘Ajji Kathe’ in the pipeline.

In the background Ramesh Aravind, Chidanand, Ranjitha, BM Venkatesh, Anirud, Nisha have lent their voices. For the lyrics of JM Prahallad and MN Vyasa Rao the famous music director V Manohar has lent the music. GV Raghavendra and Anand Kidimba are the producers of this ‘Chintu School’. JM Prahallad has penned the story for this entertainer film.

Seshagiri holds the credit as the first Kannada feature film in 2D Animation. For the hard work he deserves the full praise and honors for his work.
