80 FILMS IN 2020

In the 86 years of Kannada cinema industry the year 2020 was most bleak for only one reason: CORONA! The crumbling was much more in all areas.
The super star films backed out even after guidelines for films release started on October 15. It was March 15 to October 15 films got stalled screening. The thousands of crores of losses were never expected.
In Kannada filmdom various lessons were taught in this Corona Pandemic situation. A few opted for OTT (Over the Top) release and a few releases after clamping of lockdown on screening did not get up win ring cash registers. Only 5 Adi 7 Angula completed 50 days while
