?JACKIE? DOUBLE OF ?PRITHVI? BUSINESS ? RAGAVENDRA RAJ SMILES!

For me the home production film ‘Jackie’ starring my brother Puneeth Rajakumar has doubled the business of his previous film ‘Prithvi’ is not important. After the film release how much it collects and runs successfully is very much important says the business tycoon of Dr. Rajakumar Ramily – Raghavendra Rajakumar.

I cannot reveal whether it is double or triple. But the expenditure incurred for ‘Jackie’ is the highest from our family banner so far admits Raghavendra Rajakumar. Out of 78 films in 30 years of our family banner ‘Jackie’ has called for expenditure because of outdoor locations, shifting, and hundreds of people working and of course for the technical aspects. We thought of 65 days but it has gone up to 90 days of shooting.

My brother Puneeth is very cautious about two things – food and technical details for the film. We have not left any stone unturned in this aspect. When hundreds of people are on the sets on such days only Puneeth was demanding non vegetarian food. I was saying yes but earlier when the people working in the sets are huge non vegetarian was not recommended. This is just an example how Puneeth thinks like our father Dr Rajakumar says Raghavendra Rajakumar.

For the excess in expenditure director Soori gives the example – in Austria where the shooting was planned for three days we had to sit quietly in hotel rooms for rain. We could do nothing and per day one meal is Rs.6000 in Indian currency for one person. We were 23 persons team of ‘Jackie’. It is roughly Rs.40 lakhs loss he lamented.

When there was some fire accident Puneeth had some burns and a few days the shooting schedule was postponed. Earlier to this there was another fall when Puneeth Rajakumar was riding the motorbike with Bhavana as pillion. There is strict instruction from my mother that the shooting should not very tough Raganna recalled.
