On the day of announcement of the film at KSCA Stadium Agni Sridhar promised to give a role for Ajith Jayaraj.

The biopic on underworld don by Jayaraj is in Ashu Bedra Ventures. Shoonya is director of this film. Dolly alias Dhananjay is doing the title role of this film. It is a saga of 1974 to 1977.
