The Kannada Cinema Artists Association Ambarish resigned after he got a mixed reaction on his continuation for the post of President of the association. One of the artists said what you have done in the last seven years. It is high time you quit hurt the rebel star Ambarish.

Ambarish himself is upset with the absence of artists for the crucial meetings. On 13th December lot of prominent personalities of the KCA did not turn up made him to take such a drastic step. However after he wrote the resignation letter a queue has build up in his residence that is pacifying Ambarish to take back the resignation.

While a section of members are not happy with Ambarish there are some who are happy with his decision. Ambarish was maintaining the careless attitude always and it is better he quit is the opinion. That is true because Ambarish was not attending the Parliament when he was the MP.

Meanwhile Ambarish contribution to the Kannada Cinema Artists Association building cannot be ruled out. The 25 percent of the building is complete. Ambarish impressed Ashok Kheni for the funds of the KCA building in Chamrajpet.
