The chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Dr J Jayalalithaa has agreed to inaugurate the Centenary Celebration of Indian cinema by South Indian cinema at Nehru Indoor stadium on 21st of September evening.

The Chief Minister Jayalalithaa inaugurate the event while the two chief guests on this occasion are Rajanikanth and Kamal Hassan. The event starts from 21st to 24th of September. The representatives from south Indian cinema industry will be present at the inauguration day.

It is on this day the representatives of Kannada filmdom will also be present. The team from Kannada cinema industry leaves on 21st September to take part in the inaugural.

The sad thing is that the Telugu film industry is taking part in the celebrations but not performing in the cultural event according to sources.
