A successful director, good human being B Ramamurthy of 60 plus films direction has promised his sons whenever he is not able to bring milk packet of Rs.46 worth daily, he would tell them to carry out the family. As long as I can earn, I would contribute to the family by his obedience at 60 plus age. His family members stood by him so strongly to think like that for B Ramamurthy. Like his first film ‘Rudra Thandava’, destiny made such a dance in his life.

B Ramamurthy has reason to mention it because he has got a role in ‘Goodu’ that is almost similar to his personal life. He had seen the toughest days and once decided to end his life with his wife. That is all because of the ‘Rambha’ film he had directed. So much of the loan and interest he had to pay back. In another case Rs.2 lakhs went up to Rs.18 lakhs interest bothered this director – once again the humble director was a scapegoat.

B Ramamurthy wiping his tears in front of a few close media friends on Monday evening went on a flashback because of his film ‘Goodu’ in which he is playing the lead role based on the novel ‘Savina Nanthara’ of T S Nagaraj. He has the role that he has surpassed in real life but the cinematic end is what turns good for his family members.

B Ramamurthy surpassing all situations created distraction in life living with his two sons and wife near Banneraghatta Road. He remembered how he went with his wife with just Rs.178 in his pocket to put an end to life. He had to book tickets for four of his family and took Rs.1000 loan from his brother Manjunath but the tragedy was suspected by Manjunath wife and it was averted, remembers B Ramamurthy in a choked voice.

It is for the first time B Ramamurthy performs the protagonist role, in his white beard he looks like the brother of Dattanna and Kalagangotri Manju.
