BHAGYASRI ON CHILD MARRIAGE

Despite of government steps, the local people identifying and punishing the people behind ‘Child Marriage’ in this country, it is just happening. In some cases the ministers have taken part in the child marriages unknowingly.

With such ill of the society here comes Smt Asha Shahira Bilagi and her husband Shahir Bilagi from Bagalkot to make a film on eradication of child marriage in ‘Bhagyasri’ in Banashankari Art Combines.

Kumari Heera is playing the title role. She is 7th standard student of Prarthana School in Padmanabhanagara. S Mallesh a veteran in the cinema industry working in various department is director for his novel ‘Bhagyasri’. Mallesh has started his career as office boy in the tinsel town, taken up distribution of films and with huge experience to his back making debut as director.

The child marriage is offence. This should go away from our society. In this direction we have made this film says Smt Asha Bilagi.

The audio CD of the film was released by Padmasri Prof Doddarange Gowda. He has written two songs for this film. Hayavadhan TV serial director and family friend of producers was present at the audio release event.

Sanjeev Reddy edited the film, Karthik Venkatesh has given three different tunes for this film. one of which is a song on Kitturu Rani Chennamma that is sure to stay long in people mind he says.

Manjunath, Keerthi, Balakrishna, KGF Krishoji Rao, Ekanth, Nagaraj and others are in the cast.

Veteran writer Prof Doddarange Gowda was moved by the research of director S Mallesh and advised him to come up with short novel and then make a film.

Actor of Kannada Kuvara and a few other Lambani films Hemanth Kumar returns to cinema field as cameraman from this film.
