The much expected cinema ‘Bichchugaththi’ based on the novel of Dr BL Velu that caters to ‘Dalavayi Dange’ from the era of 1675 of Chitradurga history pages is made with strong dosage. It is a nexus between Dalavayi Muddanna and Bharamanna Nayaka the young leader of oppressed.

The film giving the history of Chitradurga the famous Fort place concentrate more on the Dalavayi regime and later attach the importance to emergence of Bharamanna Nayaka.

This ‘Dalavayi Dange’ starts off with the power of Muddanna who cut off the head of the prominent Nayaka in the court hall and emerge as fierce leader. The atrocity of Muddanna leads to very bad situation of people. It is unless Bharamanna Nayaka grows up to show his guts and valiance.

In a series of attacks Bharamanna Nayaka dislodge the power of Dalavayi Muddanna and finally achieve s the throne on the insistence of people and those who are close to kingdom.

All the artists in this film especially Rajavardhana and Prabhakar should have taken lessons Srinivasamurthy at the time of dubbing, the level of this film would have been very good. Prabhakar dubbing for this film is the biggest minus point of the film.

Rajavardhana taking up a pivotal role of Baramanna Nayaka has the power in his arms. He should concentrate on dialogue delivery further. Prabhakar of Bahubali film has that ‘Vyagrathe’ but he fails to deliver in dialogues.

It is quite different role with variations for charming actress Haripriya. The beauty of Kannada Nadu has expressed anger effortlessly. This film is also an indication that Haripriya can take up action roles without second thought.

Srinivasamurthy and Shivaramanna are the only actors as Pradhana Mantri and saint respectively in the film delivered dialogues perfectly.

The two background songs of Nakul Abhyankar are on top, the background score is also adequate. Guru Prashanth cinematography capturing the beauty of Chitradurga, huge areas in one frame deserves applaud.

History is not a dead stock. It is a value to keep up our culture and heritage make very strong. Go watch this film of director Hari Santosh.
