‘Jagaththige Obbane Saheba’ – that Baba Saheba Dr BR Ambedkar. With this slogan in the posters a film ‘Dangadi’ in Sharath direction is all set for release in Chakravarthy Movie Makers headed by producer Surendra Oogara.

Director Sharath has directed his fourth film. on the achievements of legendary personality Dr BR Ambedkar he was not aware much. He studied books to finally arrive at the subject for the film. Before that the Ambedkar character Dr Siddarama Karanika a close friend of producer Oogara directed for 10 days and that was not satisfactory.

With no clash the direction was shifted to Sharath and it is ready to hit the silver screen with U certificate from censor board.

Surendra Oogar ready with the film happy for the release announced that he is taking up a film on ‘Gauthama Buddha’ and ‘Tippu Sultan’ as his forthcoming projects – it has been one and half year project of ‘Dangadi’ for him. Making money is not the intention giving good subjects is his top priority.

Sanju is in the admirer role of Dr Ambedkar. The step for development in the film has benefited me in my personal life he says.

For the media briefing the closets of producer Hanumanth, Ramakrishna, Keshava Murthy, Mehabooba M, Rajashekhar, Kanaka Lakshmi, Balakrishna, Pramod music composer and others were present.

Dr Sidrama Karaniks, Biradara, Suredra oogara, Kanaka Lakshmi, Sharath, Dr Savitha, Jayasurya, Shankar Sugathe, Bhimappa Gadaada, Prof DS Chougale, Mallesha Chougule and others are in the cast.

Venkat Gowd is distributing the film in over 40 theatres from coming Friday.
