The legendary actor with two national awards for supporting roles in a career spanning 30 years HG Dattatreya alias popularly known as Dattanna is in a prominent role of  ‘Mission Mangal’ that stars ensemble of Hindi actors like Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Vidya Balan, Tapsi Pannu, Nithya Menon, Sharman Joshi and others.

Dattanna has given 25 days call sheet for his third Hindi film ‘Mission Mangal’, his first film in career was ‘Udbhav’ in 1988 after that be got opportunity in ‘Asphota’ that got him state award. The journey of thirty years in cinema for Dattanna has been very fruitful and when he acted in his second Hindi film ‘Doosra’ assistant director of the film was Jagan Shakthi. For this film ‘Mission Mangal’ Jagan Shakthi is independent director and knowing the talent of Dattanna he invited him for this film. Radha Bharadwaj is producer of this film.

What is this ‘Mission Mangal’? It is about Mars orbit mission which market India first interplanetary expedition by Indian Research Organization.

The film ‘Mission Mangal’ is heading for release in August 2019.
