The highly talented and richly popular actor Doddanna who has three decades of stay in Kannada cinema industry turned 60 recently. At his native village in Shimoga district he married his wife again (that is the tradition in Hindu samskrithi) in a grand style and later on Sunday afternoon at ISKCON temple he created the festival mood of his celebration.

The beauty was the traditional arrangement and receiving of the guests at the entrance. Ambarish, V Ravichandran, Hamsalekha, Rockline Venkatesh, SV Rajendra Singh Babu, Jaggesh, Upendra and Priyanka, E Krishnappa, KSL Swamee, Chindodi Leela, Tallam Nanjunda Shetty, Dwarakish, S Narayan, Kashinath, V Manohar, KCN Chandraskehar, Sa Ra Govindu, N Kumar, Shivaram, Sunder Raj, Girija Lokesh, Hema Chaudhary (she offered a peck on the cheek of Doddanna and wiped the lipstick mark), Sudharani, Meghana, Sumithra, Sudarshan and Shylasri, Phani Ramachandra, Padma Kumuta, Gurudut, family members of Doddanna graced the occasion.

There was Mangala Vadya even for the cake cutting celebration too. The family members of Doddanna – Shantha Doddanna, Usharani, KR Krishnaprasad, RD Chaitra and KC Veerendra, grand chindren Krishika, Himani, Nirvikalpa Prasad and Tejas joined the group photo.

The swamiji of Kodi Math arrived at 12.30 pm to bless the good heart personality Doddanna.

There was peck on the cheek of Doddanna from actress Hemachaudhary. She wiped the marks on Doddanna from her handkerchief at the Krishna temple.

The food was totally good and full marks to Akki Rotti and Engai preparations. The food served was high quality and it showed how a good eater is Doddanna.
