On the occasion of 68th birth anniversary of icon of Kannada cinema Dr Vishnuvardhana – Vishnu Sena Samithi headed by Veerakaputhra Srinivas and team is organizing three days National Festival on September 16, 17 and 18 in Bengaluru at Kuvempu Kalakshetra.

Spending Rs.30 lakhs Veerakaputhra Srinivas and team celebrated one day national festival of Dr Vishnu in the last year at New Delhi. Next year the National Festival of Dr Vishnu will be held at Hyderabad.

Veerakaputra Srinivas on this year three days festival is stressing on ‘Vishwa Adarsha Day’ for September 18 and he hopes the declaration is made Karnataka Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy at a function on September 18.

On September 16 the procession starts from BBMP office in Corporation to Kuvempu Kalakshetra. Three books on Dr Vishnu written by Jogi, Sadashiva Shenoy and NS Sridhar Murthy will be released, there will be competition on ideologies, essay competition, heroines of Dr Vishnu will be addressing on this occasion.

On the first day duet songs, second day Dr Vishnu songs on Kannada and Karnataka, songs favorite of fans will be musical evening. There is also plan of short film festival, Vishnu Jayanthi will be held on all the 30 districts by fans either at government schools or at private auditorium, for this year 3 days national festival 30000 are expected to take part. This song will be declared open on August 15, birthday of Dr Bharathi Vishnuvardhana.

Once a closet of Dr Vishnuvardhana family Ravi Srivatsa detached from 2005 has come to this Dr Vishnu Sena Samithi. He had seen Dr Vishnuvardhana in close proximity from Halo Daddy time. He has promised to contact all those who mixed up with Dr Vishnu to join the celebration.
