The birth anniversary of Dr Rajakumar on April 24 is celebrated from this year as ‘Dr Rajakumar Jayanthi’. This was announced by the government sometime ago. Meanwhile for 24th April various programs have lined up right from the morning.

Prior to 24th Puneeth Rajakumar the fondest son of Annavru film ‘Prithvi’ is releasing. On the same day the Oxford book store is coming up with a unique documentary on Dr Rajakumar in which Amitabh Bachchan and Dr Vishnuvardhana have recorded their opinion. It is ‘Dr Rajakumar – An Analysis of the Phenomenon’ narrated by Ramesh Aravind. The event is taking place at Leela Galleria in Leela Palace Hotel. Puneeth Rajakumar and Ashwini Puneeth are also gracing this occasion.

On 24th morning the government is garlanding the statue of Dr Rajakumar. The fans and family members assemble at the Dr Rajakumar memorial in Kanteerava studio. In the morning Dr Rajakumar Trust is addressing the media on the task it has taken up. At this place power star Puneeth Rajakumar is likely to release the cover page of his father book ‘Rajakumar the Legend’ that is coming out in English.
