Now the titles from home appliances have started coming up. It is ‘Fridge’ today and tomorrow it might be a washing machine!

The film with different title for silver screen ‘Fridge’ went on the floors with a new team last Sunday at Jalahalli Cross Kanakaparameshwari temple. Kolar Shekar with experience in short films is writer of story, screenplay, dialogues, lyrics besides heading the megaphone as director.

Keeping secrecy of the title for the film director Kolar Kiran says the atrocities on innocent women are on the rise. The punishment then and there itself is not happening and the affected are not getting right justice. Such a topical issue is discussed in this film.

We take care of the female child of our family with care and caution; the same attention should be given to all girls of this society. This should be the standard rule of everyone for a good society, says Kolar Kiran.

Kiran is playing the lead of a college student, Naveen is an employee, Pooja and Shwetha are students. Manoj Raksi, Manju, Teju, Satish are also in the cast.

Oaks has composed music, Bhavish is cameraman. The shooting is taking place at Bengaluru, Nelamangala, Madikeri, Murudeshwara, Mangaluru, Goa and other locales.

A group of youngsters have come forward to invest Rs.60 lakhs on this film. They hope to release the film in Sankranthi festival time of 2021.
