The ailing stalwart of Kannada cinema Geethapriya was taken to the right hospital for his vocal cord problem (thanks to our colleague senior journalist BN Subramanya for extending support) and given the necessary medical aid.

As he is not able to speak properly doctors attending on Geethapriya was given the medicines for one week. Various tests have been conducted. It is not diagnosed as CANCER. Some of the media colleagues have come to this conclusion but it is not so says the reports reaching as of now.

Meanwhile on Tuesday veteran actor Srinivasamurthy given an undisclosed amount to Geethapriya and he was accompanied by Mr Sharavana who handed over Rs.25000.

Mr Sharavana of Sai Gold Palace on the spot took a decision to bear the medical expenses of Geethapriya and spoke to the manager of Jayadeve Hospital for providing all medical help.

A few days ago actor and director Ramesh Aravind, Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce extended the financial support to Geethapriya. Ramesh Aravind had acted in ‘Mouna Geethe’ of the veteran director and lyricist.
