With over two decades of stint in cinema industry and developing estates, farms etc Shinu Mithra has found it tough when his film ‘Raaga’ crashed in the box office in PC Shekhar direction.

Recouping slowly from financial losses Mithra is back again as hero in Blackie. The poster of ‘Blackie’ was released for his birthday. He has four other films on hand.

Apparently the first look of Mithra in ‘Blackie’ the comparison is made to North Korea dictator Kim Jaang Un. The hairstyle, spectacles and style has close resemblance.

‘Gigitle’ film director Ravi Kiran is directing this ‘Blackie’ – he has written story, screenplay and dialogues. Girish and Venkatesh are producers. The team after first schedule before lock down intended to go to Bangkok.

It is a fantasy subject cinema says Ravi Kiran. It is away from regular pattern. There is murder mystery. A monkey is also in main role in this film. After a monkey comes in the life of protagonist several developments crops up.
