Another Kannada film title is repeated. The film ‘Jackpot’ was released in 2006 in which handsome guy Dhyan, Harsha, Shuba Punja were in lead roles while Kichcha Sudeep, Daisy Boppanna were in guest roles of event manager turned director Niranjan debut.

After 14 years the same title is in the direction of Amar who made ‘ATM’ an interesting film. The film ‘Jackpot’ revolves around a cop and a citizen – who gets the jackpot is the interesting climax of this film. The expensive drug is in the custody of a youth who comes to Sakaleshpura. He wants to earn ‘Jackpot’ by selling it in Bengaluru. The police are behind him. The tug of war continues. It is Premarpitha Production maiden production.

It is a suspense thriller cinema. Naveen of Channarayapatna who invested in short films is making foray into big screen. According to him all are producers of the film. In 42 days 30 days of talkie and 12 days for three songs the shoot was held in Sakaleshpura, Bengaluru and other locales.

The actor of Lakshmi Baramma, Gruhalakshmi and recently ‘Chat Corner’ anchor Chandru B Gowda was in the lead role of a cab driver in ‘ATM’ of director Amar. He is now in this film with his real name Chandu Byre Gowda as the character name. He plays a cop. Amar is a creative director and he makes the artists get into the shoes by his precise narration, says Chandu.

Shobitha Shivanna is Meera in this film. She is in Amar direction for the second film. She plays a mature role and is very adjusting in nature with husband. She is happy for her work with noted director TS Nagabharana who is her father in this film. In TV serials he is my ‘Mava’ she says. Director Amar explains the individual portions and never allows us to know the full film she adds.

Kushanth is another youth in this film. Three songs of this film are scored by Ravi Dev, Bakesh and Karthik, Naveen Sajju, Sanchit Hegde and Sangeetha are the singers. A sorrow, melody and female voice song is shot with a green mat. Mandya Ramesh, Pawan and others are also in the cast and Naveen is the main villain of this film.

Abhinandan Shetty worked behind camera, Amar has done editing, Narasimhayya Ellur penned dialogues. This film shooting was completed just one day before the Corona Pandemic in March this year.
