The noted actress of South India Lakshmi Rai is preparing for the ‘Jhansi’ action packed female oriented role in Guruprasad of ‘Maryade Ramanna’ fame is all set to go on floor on 29th of August.

The popular tall and beautiful actress Lakshmi Rai is transforming to action role for the first time. She has four shades in this film. This is a film by Mumbai producer from Hindi cinema Rajesh Kumar making his first South Indian cinema ‘Jhansi’ in Kannada.

At the Chamundesware Studio on Monday morning the action mood clips with stock shots from Lakshmi Rai various films surprised the actress on the keen interest of the director.

From glam roles Lakshmi Rai is in a action cinema. Friend of my mine Nandakumar connected me to the actress and we narrated the script in Kodaikanal for Lakshmi Rai which she accepted. This is a film on various social ills such as drugs and atrocities. The drug mafia is growing big in Karnataka is the main focus in this action film said Guruprasad.

MN Krupakar feeling happy for a force in the title said this is his sixth with director Guruprasad. He has four songs to complete for this film.
