Initial hiccup on the opening day two shows ‘Jolly Days’ a film by Madi Reddy Param in Young Dreams Productions has surpassed the hurdle from the 4.30 pm show on last Friday. The audience are flocking to the theatres and the craze has built up for the contents of the film.

The response in the last six days has given a hope that ‘Jolly Days’ would have a big run. The 400 plus Mount College Girls are helping out tomorrow in their program save trees and greenery in Bangalore. The ‘Jolly Days’ songs are performed in this place and publicity is going high feels Param.

Director of the super hit films MD Sridhar was frank enough to say except his ‘Krishna’ (starring Golden star Ganesh, Pooja Gandhi and Sharmila Mandre) film all his films had slow pick in the theatres. Sridhar agrees that ‘Jolly Days’ is not the big stars film to pick up on the opening day. As there was some confusion the publicity could not be held in nook and corner of Karnataka but everything is OK now said Sridhar.

The distributor of the film the former Karnataka Film chamber of Commerce President H.D.Gangaraju says the film has crossed the initial hurdle and it is fast picking up. This is a film to be watched not only by students but also parents and family members he recommends. Very influential personality Gangaraju is also contemplating on reduction in the ticket rate in the theatres that has not happened with everyone consent in the KFCC. In five theatres of Bangalore and one district head quarters the film is screened disclosed Gangaraju who does not believe in too many theatres in the beginning for the film.

We feel proud about this film and for the effort the rave reviews has been a good encouragement said Krishnakumar the cameraman of the film ‘Jolly Days’.

Lyricist Kaviraj disclosed there was no hope till the 4.30 pm show of the film and media giving a good response. After seeing the opinions in the print media I got sleep and kept high hopes on the film ‘Jolly Days’ informed Kaviraj.

Actors of ‘Jolly Days’ Keerthi, Prveen, Ruthwa, Vishwas, Spoorthi, Aishwarya Nag, Raghav, Rahul, Pradip, Ranjan and Mantelingaswamy thanked the producer and director for picking them for a very good film.

There was huge applaud for associate director Prashanth from everyone for his sincere work. Prashanth has been working for the last three films with me and he is like my brother said director MD Sridhar.
