KAAJI SHORT FILM OF AISHANI SHETTY

Noted actor of Kannada cinema Ninasam Satish has invested on ‘Chowka Baara’ in the past. He is now investor for another short film ‘Kaaji’ (bangles) in the direction of his ‘Rocket’ heroine Aishani Shetty.

 

The short film of 18 minutes duration Aishani Shetty ‘Kaaji’ has bagged prestigious awards for offbeat nature. The life of widow mother and child with affluent mother and daughter on the other side – this short film depicts the trauma and upper hand nature that is still prevalent in the society. In fact there is law to curb such things but Aishani Shetty has not looked at that angle in this short film.

 

Ninasam Satish thanked his team members for giving good cooperation for a good subject ‘Khaaji’. Vishwajith, Preetham Tagginamane, Midum Mukundan, Hari actors Hita Chandrasekhar, child actors Inchara and Subbanna extended good support he pointed.

 

In one of her journey Aishani Shetty story writer and interested in poetry witnessed the real life incident. That is now subject for this short film. The short film has ‘Open End’ shot in three days span.

 

Hita Chandrasekhar explained how she grabbed this role and learnt Mandya dialect.
