KAPALI MOHNAN COMMITTED SUICIDE

One of the closets of Dr Rajakumar family, producer, financier, actor and businessman VK Mohan alias Kapali Mohan committed suicide on Monday morning at his own hotel ‘Supreme’ situated in Peenya surroundings.

Aged around 60 Kapali Mohan was partner to Kannada film ‘Case No.18/9’ a remake film, he lived in Sadashivanagar. Gangammana Gudi Police station is looking in to the case of Kapali Mohan suicide.

Kapali Mohan acted in a few Kannada films, his notable is the garland he makes for Dr Rajakumar in the film ‘Shabdavedi’ song Janarinda Nanu Mele Bande…..

Business failure said to be the strong reason it is learnt for Kapali Mohan taking up the extreme step in life. When Peenya Bus stand was started a few years ago, Kapali Mohan pooled a few crores of rupees from cinema actors and invested on taking contract of 15 shops situated at the bus stand. That was a big failure he faced and had to bow down.

Kapali Mohan was also part of gambling and in RG Recreation club CCB sleuths made a raid in 2018 recovering several crores and Kapali Mohan was absconding. He runs Balaji Finance firm. He was booked under Karnataka Money Lenders Act of 1961 by Vayalikaval Police station.
