KFCC 75 ASSURANCES FROM HOME MINISTRY

The Karnataka Home Minister Basavaraj Bommai chief guest at the logo launch of the 75 years of Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce event has promised to look into various issues of the film industry and solve it within this month.

The vital issue of Piracy, the multiplex not giving prominence to Kannada films, film city issue, GST return for the producers of Kannada films, the TDS issue will be taken up seriously stated the Home minister Basavaraja Bommai at the Kalavidara Bhavana on Sunday afternoon.

The 75 years of KFCC logo inauguration was first addressed by former President of KFCC Dr Jayamala because it was women’s day. Later the current KFCC President DR Jayaraj thanked for the cooperation of everyone and said the grand celebration event details will be announced in another meet.

Former KFCC Presidents KV Chandrasekhar, KCN Chandrasekhar, HD Gangaraju, KV Guptha, Thomas D Souza, Sa Ra Govindu, SA Chinne Gowda, Kannada Film Producers Association President DK Ramakrishna were present on this occasion.

From the film artists fraternity crazy star V Ravichandran, Jaggesh, Kumar Bangarappa were present to express their opinion on the film city issue and other pertinent problems faced by the Kannada cinema industry.
