The outgoing president of Apex Body of Karnataka Film Chamber SA Chinne Gowda is happy and content because all problems rose in his regime for last one year has been solved. The KFCC head is giving away duties to new President DR Jairaj on 30th of this month as the elections are on 29th of this month.

With the office bearers Ba Ma Harish, Kari Subbu, Shilpa Srinivas, Sunder Raj, KM Veeresh the outgoing President SA Chinne Gowda said according to bylaw of the KFCC he has worked as President heading from distributor sector.

There were issues such as Shruthi Hariharan and Arjun Sarja, we lost the legend Dr Ambarish in our time, and very recently Kanakapura Srinivas issue related to Dasharatha were solved. I know single screens have problems; we are waiting for Janata Chitramandiras, sought 500 acres land for people of the cinema industry at Ramanagara. They have clearly indicated their stand, there are some middlemen who are taking money for the positive reviews in Book My Show – that is not allowed the officials have cleared. On the digital operators for publicity people have been cautioned he said. On the banners in backlog cleared, KM Veeresh said from 6727 banners we have 1517 banners. Sunder Raj from the exhibitor sector stated the UFO and Qube issue solved to some extent and the reduction is uniform all over south he clarified. On the single theatres all over Karnataka depleting from 536 to 388, Sunder Raj said we have very bad situation for single screens and many of them are closing shutters. In all there are 128 multiplex screens as on today and 80 plus screens are found in Bengaluru alone he mentioned.
