KICHCHU – THINK BEFORE DECISION

A film with concern, caution and precaution is this ‘Kichchu’. The character of a doctor in the deep forest with a stunning voice gives a piece of advice. You have to think before taking a decision – this would definitely help you to know the consequences. Had you thought precisely you would not lived at this place today says the doctor character played by Kichcha Sudeep in pitch dark situation. The dark days for the ones who made wrong decision in life is around the corner you would expect.

It happens so in ‘Kichchu’ – paying penalty for wrong decision and wrong company on the one side and other side the bureaucracy turning very harsh sets a wrong platform for the people who think they are right.

Pradeep Raj as director had written a commendable story for this film and he narrated it in a neat way setting most of the situations in the thick forest.

The film focus on forest safety is appreciable. In fact the base for the film is protecting forest wealth and the murder mystery. Senior cop Pratap (Saikumar) is appointed to trace the killing of three men in the forest. The link lead to Paddu (Ragini) and she explains the fact of the matter. The cop very tough round off the four guys in that Soori (Dhruva Sharma) is the main culprit.

Paddu in fact discarded sister Nandini and Soori after their marriage. That leads them to remain in forest with wrong company. The trouble starts one by one for the couple with wrong hands.

At the death of Nandini the decision to surrender to police happens. What next you have to watch it on screen.

Dhruva Sharma (who is no more today) and Abhinaya given good performance in sign language but for this the dialogue should have been in Kannada as sub title.

Sudeep has gracious presence, in deglamorised role Ragini Dwivedi has done well. Roaring best is Suchindra Prasad. Sai Kumar has agile presence.

Arjun Janya has given right mood for the situations from background score and the flashback song of the film is a beauty.

Cinematographer Chidam has done well but the result was not visible at Trivenu theatre for bad projection
