Another shocking demise! Krishnamurthy Nadig, a ready reckon on various topics especially Kannada cinema, actor, writer and a very good human being passed away on Saturday night. The cremation was held at Chamrajpet TR Mill crematorium on Sunday afternoon.

For the film media after the passing away of KSL Swamee, this Krishnamurthy Nadig looked typical but a man of profound knowledge Krishnamurthy Nadig was ‘Khanditavadhi’. He used to call a spade a spade!

We have lost a small library via Krishnamurthy Nadig. His vast knowledge of over 50 years of cinema and other art fields were impeccable. He lived grand and his favorite ‘Cigarette’ perhaps killed him slowly.

Krishnamurthy Nadig aged 67 years hails from Kadur in Chickmagalur. He worked as production manager, assistant director, and writer, narrator actor in small and big screens. He was making the perfect pick of talent.

Krishnamurthy Nadig complained of pain in the heart when he was working for a television serial and was shifted to Jayadeva Hospital. The sad end came on Saturday night.

He worked for films like Pailwan, Adhilakshmi Puraa, Mangalyam Tantunaanena, Pallakki, O Gulabiye, Saadhu, Mr Putswamy, Rangena Halliyage Rangada Range Gowda, Pooja, A+, Ondu Cinema Kathe, Ajagajanthara, Ananthana Avanthara, Bisilu Beladingalu and others.

Krishnamurthy Nadig ‘History’ in a television channel is still popular. Lagna Patrike, Pallavi Anupallavi, Mahadevi, Suprabhata and others are his assignments on the small screen.
