We had films on Dr Raj, Dr Vishnu, Shanker Nag fans films. Now it is Dr Ambarish fan film. It is titled as KRS. The title for this was kept as ‘My Name is Mandyada Gandu’ – fans of Ambarish disagreed to this title. So it is KRS as title now.

Although this team of ‘KRS’ not explained on what is KRS, the film attempts to throw light on what youths can do to the society. A farmer supportive film focuses attention on ‘Prithi’ rather than ‘Jaathi’. The film has some of the good ideals of Dr Ambarish. The protagonist in the film will be having ‘Ambari’ tattoo on his chest.

The hero of ‘Mandya Star’ CB Lokesh is playing lead role with friend Satish as producer. Dharani is village belle. Sharat Lohitashva, Charan Raj, Padmaja Rao, Ugram Manju, Rami Kodagalli, Sanju Basayya, Baneer Talikote and others are in the cast.

The shoot for this film will be held in and around Mandya district. K Prashanth heading the megaphone for story, dialogue and lyrics of Ravi Shetty. Bakesh of Gultoo fame scores music for four songs. Anaji Nagaraj is cinematographer, Thulasi Ram Raj editing, Mohan dance, Vinod-Ram Dev stunts part of technical team.

On the birthday of hero of the film at Dr Ambarish memorial the muhurut was held. ‘Hey Nim Boss Antorgella, Baase Nam Baasu Kano…Bari Boss alla, rebel Baasu’ was dialogue for hero Lokesh for the mhurut shot.

Challenging star Darshan sounded clap board for muhuruth. Abhishek Ambarish switched on camera. The orphans were given food items, beds etc from MR Talkies team.
